Interned full-time at Jaguar Land Rover TBSI (place of posting was Bengaluru) from May to July 2023. I worked on two projects during this 8-week internship.

Project 1:

Analysed different implementations of Space Vector PWM (SVPWM) and developed an efficient Simulink model from scratch. Replaced the in-built PWM Generator block with my implementation in an example DC-DC converter Simscape project and demonstrated the higher DC utilisation and better THD.

Project 2:

Configured the ADC module in the TI F28P65 processor (C2000 series) for software interrupts-based sampling. Tested and showed the converted outputs using a DC power supply by varying the voltages to the ADC input pin.

Hackathon:

Clinched the first position in a 36-hour hackathon for interns on the topic “Vehicle as a Tour Guide” by proposing a feature to reduce range anxiety in trips, researching battery consumption and charging time estimation. Participated in a team of five interns, and this feature was my individual contribution. Our team also developed a prototype of the tour assistant integrated into the dashboard in the car.
