PoCRA

This work was done in my part-time internship under Prof. Milind Sohoni (Dept. of CSE, IIT Bombay) during Summer 2022. PoCRA is a joint effort by the Government of Maharashtra and IIT Bombay, aided by the World Bank. I was part of a multidisciplinary project team focused on water and energy modelling to identify constraints, develop solutions, and implement extension programs to protect smallholder farmers.

I got acquainted with PostgreSQL, POSTGIS, and PyQGIS APIs, and integrated the GIS-based model to use groundwater recharge to determine initial head values. I also learnt to use data structures in a real-world application project and version control using Git.
